General Health and Wellness
The World Health Organization’s definition of health clarifies that health is not merely the absence of disease but also a state of complete physical, social, mental well-being’. True, holistic care should take into account all these areas and treatment should aim to bring balance back to them. When working with patients, we collaborate on putting together a plan that suits your needs and incorporates small changes for sustainable living.
Just because I commonly work with hormones, fertility, pregnancy, and pediatrics, it doesn't mean that I am restricted to only working with these populations. I also aim to help people feel well in all these areas:
Digestive health
Irregular bowel habits, reflux, and bloating can be a sign of internal imbalance and a clue to other health conditions. Daily discomfort in these areas can also impact quality of life.
Sleep
Lack of quality sleep can contribute to symptoms such as brain fog, poor concentration and memory, and can exacerbate mood, metabolic, and hormonal disorders.
Mental health
You can't "out-medicate" or "out-supplement" an unsettled mind. I aim to provide resources and shifts in perspective to help support nervous system dysregulation.
These are mainstays to a good foundation of health. Providing small and sustainable changes to these areas can provide long-lasting changes and get you feeling well again.
There can be a number of reasons for low energy and it may not always be apparent on just bloodwork. I like to see where we can make change in your life without having you dependent on medications and supplements if not needed.
Cardiovascular health
Conditions like diabetes, hypertension, and high cholesterol can be heavily influenced by nutrition and lifestyle. Whether you are medicated or not, there is a lot of improvement that can be made to improve your health outcomes.
